A Bixby finalmente teve seus comandos de voz liberados para o Galaxy S8 e S8 Plus nos Estados Unidos, e a Samsung já investe na publicidade de sua assistente concorrente da Siri. A companhia começou a veicular um anúncio para mostrar alguns dos recursos da AI, como a tradução em tempo real, busca por produtos e lembretes.

O comercial começa com um usuário entrando em um restaurante chinês basicamente para fugir de uma forte chuva. Ao receber o biscoito da sorte, ele saca seu Galaxy S8 Plus para traduzir o que diz o bilhete. E descobre que “hoje é o seu dia de sorte”. Daí em diante, todo o filme gira em torno das funções da Bixby e da sorte do sujeito.

A Bixby, por enquanto, não fala português. E nem sequer está liberada em voz para os usuários brasileiros. Mas, como você pode ter adquirido um Galaxy S8 ou S8 Plus importado e utiliza em inglês, pode ser que consiga habilitar a Bixby Voice em seu dispositivo.
